This week we have combined our two teams, and the Week Five goals apply to all members of the combined team



Week Five goals


In the fifth week of the MarineLives Summer Transcription Programme we will:

(1) Share palaeographical experiences and tips from work each of us have done on the Admiralty Court material to date

(2) Sharing interesting content you have come across in your transcriptions or searches of the wiki

(3) Work on the story of the Three Silver Ships - both factual and legal, and discuss the research steps we propose to take to deepen our understanding of the story

(4) Do a further two pages of transcription each, this week chosen again from HCA 13/68

- Please choose a couple of pages and Reserve them for yourself in the status section of the metadata
- Preference given to newly discovered depositions from the Silver Ships case, listed below
