To the third hee saith that they met together at another house in Woolwich about six of the<br />
clock on the friday night of the 21th of January and about 9 of the clock came to the [?XXXX] and there [?stopped] and then continued<br />
and were merry together all night, and about four of the clock the next morning pasterd<br />
And upon their said departure, the said Trumpeter seeing them prepare to come for<br />

To the fourth hee saith hee this deponent in a fortnight or three weekes space<br />
wherein this deponent was a waiter aboard a prize shipp at Woolwich, severall<br />
times sawe the said Trumpeter, but never spake with or was in his company<br />
saving the time predeposed.
To the fifth hee saith the said words and confession were spoken in the dutch language, and<br />
gained from the said Trumpeter by the Interrogation and questioning of the said<br />
Abraham Johnson, and otherwise hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition.
To the 6th hee saith the said Trumpeter is a lustie, black, and middlestatured man,<br />
of about 34 yeares of age in this deponents iudgement, and this deponent<br />
was present by contrivance of and with the said Johnson, Pembridge and Simonds<br />
who with this deponent contrived that meeting with the said Trumpeter.
To the 7th hee saith the said confessions were made and spoken in answer to the<br />
questioning of the said Abraham Johnson as aforesaid.
To the 8th hee saith that hee was borne at Callombe neare [?Abingdon] in<br />
Oxfordshire, and can speake high and lowe dutch, and that English is his<br />
mother tongue, and that hee hath bin master of them or able to speake them<br />
for theise 26 yeares last namely high and lowe dutch, having lived longe in those<br />
countries.

To the 10th hee saith hee was not any of the company of the shipps that tooke<br />
the ''Salvador''.

London haberdasher, aged 48 yeares or thereabouts<br />
sworne and examined.
To the first second and third articles of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that<br />
on or about the two and twentieth of January last past hee this deponent was<br />
present in the house of one Rawlins at the shipp in Woolwich and in company<br />
of his precontest William Astell and others together with Cornelius Peterson<br />
Trumpeter of the shipp the ''Salvador'' (Christian Cloppenburgh master)<br />
and of the saile maker of the ssaid shipp, and there happening speech and<br />
discourse in dutch betweene his precontest Abraham Johnson (who was alsoe<br />
present) and the said Cornelius Peterson touching the said shipp the ''Salvador''<br />
which was then lyin in the River neere Woolwich, hee the said Trumpeter<br />
acknowledged and said that the said shipp the ''Salvador'' belonged to holland and<br />
used from time to time to trade betwixt Amsterdam and Cadiz, and was then<br />
bound for Amsterdam to dischardge, and that her owners and the owners of<br />
her silver and goods lived at Amsterdam, and that hee the said Trumpeter<br />
and teh rest of the shipps company lived in holland. And the said<br />
Cornelius Peterson being demannded by the said Abraham Johnson howe they would get their goods into<br />
holland if the shipp were bound for Ostend, made answer to this effect, wee<br />
shall get them well enough thither in sloopes and Billanders; And<br />
