her up to Gravesend. And otherwise hee cannot depose saving as aforesaid.
To the seaventh hee cannot depose, having bin aboard the<br />
said shipp ''Hope''.
To the eighth hee saith that one of the fishermens ketches with eight<br />
or tenn men might without difficulties have brought the said shipp the<br />
''Hope'' and lading to Gravesend or Graies without the company or<br />
assistance of any others.

To the first hee saith that the said shipp the ;''Hope'' began this her voyage<br />
from Conincksbergh, and otherwise hee cannot depose saving as<br />
aforesaid.
To the second hee saith that the name of the master of the said shipp ''hope''<br />
is Martin Barnehilde, and otherwise hee cannot depose, hee comming<br />
only passenger in the said shipp.
To the third hee saith that the said shipp was bound to this port here<br />
to discharge, And otherwise hee cannot depose, saving there was clapboard<br />
and oares aboard of his sight.

To the first article hee saith and deposeth that the time articulate the<br />
producents James Cole, and Richard Rice (whom this deponent well knoweth)<br />
and Company, were commonly accompted and reputed the true and lawfull<br />
owners and proprietors of the shipp the ''Charitie'' arlate, And otherwise<br />
hee cannot depose.
To the third article hee saith that hee hath well knowne the said shipp<br />
the ''Charitie'' for theise foure yeeres last past and upwards, and well<br />
knew her when shee was in the custodie and under the commannd of<br />
the arlate Robert harrigate as master of her, and sawe her under<br />
such his commannd before her seizure on the ffrench coast; and since<br />
such time of her being said to be seized, namely about a yeare<br />
since this deponent sawe her here againe in the river of Thames<br />
