To the eight Interrogatory he answereth th … To the eight Interrogatory he answereth that he is fully and<br />
absolutely convinced in his conscience (for and by the<br />
intelligence and advise communicated into him all<br />
along from the first to the last concerning the<br />
sayd eight bales of Linnen that the sayd Linnen<br />
are the proper goods of the sayd Melchior de<br />
Aranguren, and of noe frenchman, or subiect to the<br />
french king or of any body else And further he<br />
cannot answeare/
To the ninth Interrogatory he answereth that he doth not<br />
particularly knowe of more then the 700 ''lb'' weight of<br />
redd wooll that the interrate de Baud and De La ffitt<br />
had in their hands of and belonging to the said Melchior<br />
de ranguren, and he saith that the said woolls were<br />
worth about 700 ''li'' as he beleiveth, and that the Linnens<br />
interrate were bought and laden upon the account of the<br />
product of the said woolls, And further he cannot answeare.
To the tenth Interrogatory he answereth that he verily beleiveth<br />
that there was noe Insurance made upon the Linnens<br />
interrate either here in [BLANK IN MANUSCRIPT]
To the eleveanth Interrogatory the answereth that the Linnens<br />
interrate are (as he beleiveth) of the manufacture of ffrannce And<br />
further he knoweth not to answeare.
To the twelth Interrogatory he answereth that he hath seene Letters<br />
written from and by the interrate De Baud and De La ffitt<br />
certifying from what port the shipps that brought the<br />
woolls interrate came, and what were the names of the said<br />
shipps that soe brought the said woolls, and that as he beleiveth<br />
and best remembreth the names of the shipps were the<br />
''Aurora'' and the ''Russett ffish'', and that they came with the<br />
said woolls from Cadiz or some port neere adioyning And<br />
further he cannot answeare./
To the 13th Interrogatory he answereth that the last time he saw<br />
the Letters interrate was in March and Aprill last past<br />
in the hands of Melchior de Aranguren the producent,<br />
who hath them still (as he beleiveth) in his hands, and that the<br />
sayd Letters were alll or the most part of them communicated<br />
together with this Rendent unto his precontest Thomas de<br />
Guzman And further he cannot answeare./
To the 14th Interrogatory he answereth that he referreth himselfe<br />
to the Invoyce predeposed of remayning in the Registry of<br />
this Court, and that as he beleiveth there was not any<br />
thing in the bales interrate but Linnen And further<br />
