deponent by reason of the aforesaid Corres … deponent by reason of the aforesaid Correspondencie between the said producents<br />
and this deponent and his ffather being familiarly acquainted with the<br />
ffactors predeposed, and frequently conversing with and privy to the trade and<br />
factorie which they drive hath seene and observed severall quantities of<br />
fflemmish goods remaining in the hands of the said ffactors at Cadiz<br />
severall moneths before the ladeing of the moneys predeposed, which<br />
the said ffactors then declared unto this deponent they had received from<br />
the said producent with order and direction to sell and dispose of the<br />
same to his best advantage, and to make him returnes thereof in moneys,<br />
as his deponent by the said producents letters of advise then remaining in<br />
the said factors hands and perused by this deponent well observed, As also for<br />
that the said factors at the time of the lading of the said silver did severally<br />
declare unto this deponent that the same was by them respectively laden<br />
and putt on board the said shipps for the said producents accompt and<br />
upon his adventure, and in part of returne of such goods as they respectively<br />
had received from him out of fflanders And for that this deponent was<br />
present when all or most part of the said silver was a telling and putting<br />
into baggs for the intent and purpose predeposed. And otherwise saving<br />
his subsequent depositions hee saith hee cannot depose./:-
