deponent by reason of the aforesaid Correspondencie between the said producents
and this deponent and his ffather being familiarly acquainted with the
ffactors predeposed, and frequently conversing with and privy to the trade and
factorie which they drive hath seene and observed severall quantities of
fflemmish goods remaining in the hands of the said ffactors at Cadiz
severall moneths before the ladeing of the moneys predeposed, which
the said ffactors then declared unto this deponent they had received from
the said producent with order and direction to sell and dispose of the
same to his best advantage, and to make him returnes thereof in moneys,
as his deponent by the said producents letters of advise then remaining in
the said factors hands and perused by this deponent well observed, As also for
that the said factors at the time of the lading of the said silver did severally
declare unto this deponent that the same was by them respectively laden
and putt on board the said shipps for the said producents accompt and
upon his adventure, and in part of returne of such goods as they respectively
had received from him out of fflanders And for that this deponent was
present when all or most part of the said silver was a telling and putting
into baggs for the intent and purpose predeposed. And otherwise saving
his subsequent depositions hee saith hee cannot depose./:-
