Transcription

To the fourth hee saith the said fisher men in such their action and
endeavour to save the said shipp and lading, lost a skiff (worth five
pounds) which was staved in peeces in the said worke of saving the said shipp
and lading, and saith that they and their companyes and their said
vessells were three weekes space or neere thereabouts in the said action
of preserving the said shipp and lading, in which space hee verily beleeveth
they might have got and earned in their fishing imployment 150 li
sterling, and soe much the imployment of the said men, vessells and
companies were well worth for th[?at]
space; which hee knoweth being himselfe a fisherman. And otherwise
hee cannot depose.

To the fifth hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition and cannot
otherwise depose.

To the 6th hee saith the said producents in the said saving the said
shipp and lading hee (as hee verily beleeveth) bin in wages for
men and other expenses, at the charge of an hundred pounds sterling,
And otherwise hee cannot depose.
