Rodriguez Robles for theise thirteene fourteene yeeres<br />
last past or thereabouts. and knowe him first Living att<br />
Civill in Spaine namely for the first yeeres of the said time<br />
of such his knowledge of him and thence hee went to the Canaryes, and soe for London<br />
and saith that this deponent hath lived in London about six yeeres<br />
last past, during which space hee hath knowne the sayd<br />
Robles to be an Inhabitant, and to be a house keeper<br />
in Dukes place London with his ffamily, and that this deponent<br />
living in the same house, and being his booke keeper<br />
is well acquainted with his affaires and Transactions, and<br />
knoweth that hee payeth Taxes to the Army and all<br />
parish dutyes; and taxes, as other Inhabitants there doe<br />
and thereby this deponent knoweth him to bee a subject of this<br />
Commonwealth, And saith the said Antonio Roderiguez Robles<br />
about five yeeres since married a wife in this City, and<br />
hath lived with her ever since in the said Dukes place<br />
and hath had two Children by her, and that the said<br />
Robbles for all the said time of this deponents knowledge of him<br />
hath bin and is a Merchant of goode Trade, and quality.<br />
And further deposeth not./
To the 3d hee saith that upon this deponents Coming to<br />
this City of London, (which was about six yeeres since as<br />
aforesaid) and from time to time since, the said Antonio<br />
Rodriguez Robbles hath in his hearing seriously declared and said that<br />
hee would fix his habitation, and end his dayes in England<br />
and further hee doth not depose./
To the 5th hee saith that for the said six yeeres space that<br />
this deponent hath soe lived in London, hee hath lived with and<br />
bin booke keeper to the said Producent, and thereby well knoweth<br />
that the said Producent hath from time to time during that space<br />
driven a Trade from the Canary Ilands to London, for, and<br />
in Canary wines and other merchandizes, and hath sent<br />
much Merchandizes to the Canary Ilands. where hee<br />
from time to time hath had his ffactors and Correspondents<br />
resident, and saith that the said ffactors have sent from the<br />
Canaryes to this Port, Consigned to the said Producent for<br />
his owne account and Adventure yeerely to the quantity<br />
(as hee Estimateth the same) of foure hundred Pipes of<br />
Canary wines or thereabouts Which have bin taken up and<br />
received in this Port for his account Which hee knoweth for that hee this deponent hath<br />
used to take them up, and cleare them for the said Producent and further<br />
hee deposeth not
