Transcription To the Interrogatories brought in by Mr BuTo the Interrogatories brought in by Mr Budd<br /> the 11th of Aprrill 1660:/: [CENTRE HEADING] To the first hee saith hee was Master of the said shipp the ''Golden''<br /> ''Starr'' and had in her when shee was stayed as aforesaid<br /> fifteene Pipes, and ffifteene hogsheads of wine upon his owne<br /> account, but had noe part or share in the Ship./. To the second hee saith his said Lading of wines did wholly<br /> belong to Englishmerchants and Subjects of this Common=<br /> =wealth, and noe part thereof to any Spaniard or<br /> Hollander,/ To the third hee saith that neither the said Captaine or<br /> the Merchants or any of the Company of the ''Alexander'' did give<br /> any receipt or noate whatsoever for receipt of the said<br /> wines and things, and saith the ''Starr'' had the Dutch<br /> Colours out when the ''Alexander'' came up to her<br /> which Continued up untill the foresaid Mate of the<br /> ''Alexander'' was goeing from the ''Starr'' on board the<br /> ''Alexander'', at which time they were pulled downe, and<br /> none other put up untill about a fortnight after./: To the 4th hee saith that hee hath Personally Knowne<br /> Seagar Corsellis for about five yeeres last, and the<br /> Interrate Nicholas Corsellis Personally for about three moneths<br /> last, but severall yeeres since hee hath receaved Letters<br /> from him, and saith that hee hath Credibly bin informed<br /> that they are both Native of this Commonwealth and soe<br /> this Deponent verily beleeveth they are, and verily veleeveth the said Nicholas Corsellis is a Subject<br /> of this Coonwealth, but doth not knowe whether the<br /> said Seager Corsellis is a Subject of this Comonwealth<br /> or not, hee living at Amsterdam, and soe having done for<br /> all the time of this Deponents knowledge of him, and saith<br /> that the said Seager Corsellis and Daniel Wybrants<br /> did not build the said ship but the said Seager bought<br /> her at Amsterdam, about five yeeres since but this Deponent did<br /> not see the money paid. but saith that about three yeeres<br /> since the said Seager Corsellis and Daniel Wybrants<br /> made this Deponent Master of her, to whom hee gave account<br /> of her Earnings, and about two moneths since he sold<br /> her here, by order of her said owners and for their use, and<br /> hath remitted the money to them And further cannot Answer[?e GUTTER] To the 5th hee saith the said Captaine and Company of the<br /> ''Alexander'', kept and detained thes said ship ''Starr'' for the<br /> Space of about sixteene howers, and saith that this Deponent<br /> supped with the said Captaine, that night which hee was Carried<br /> (onboardwhich hee was Carried<br /> (onboard  +
