Examined upon an Allegation given in on the behalfe of the<br />
said Warren Westcombe and others:/:

To the first, and second articles of the said Allegation. hee saith that hee<br />
well knew the shipp the 'Anne and Margaret'' arlate, which ship hee<br />
saith was in the moneth of July <u>1658</u> and at such time as shee was<br />
Chased, a New, Strong, and tight ship, and very well furnished with<br />
Powder shot, and all other warlike Provisions fit for her defence; and<br />
was a ship of the burthen of about 190 Tonns, and had tthe time<br />
aforesaid in her 29 or 30 men, and Nineteene Gunns; Of which said<br />
ship hee saith the arlate Charles Sannders was Comander the voyage<br />
in question, who he saith was Living and on board the said ship before and at the<br />
time of her Chasing. and two dayes after her Surrendring. The premisse<br />
hee deposeth and knoweth to be true for that hee went all the voyage in question<br />
in the said ship: And further Cannot depose. the said ship: And further Cannot depose. +
