as this Rendent beleiveth. And further otherwise than negatively<br />
he cannot depose.
To the 7th Interrogatory he saith, that att such tyme as the ''Little Mary'' [?lay GUTTER]<br />
att Wexford there was some rumour of a difference like to happen<br />
betwixt England, and Spayne, which was so farr as this Rendent could<br />
understand without any sufficient ground att that tyme. And otherwise<br />
except negatively he cannot answer.
To the 8th Interrogatory he saith he hath noe relation to the sayd Body nor [?ever GUTTER]<br />
had saving for the lading of the sayd goods for him as aforesayd. neyther<br />
hath he any manner of share of Interest in the sayd goods. And he saith<br />
the sayd Boddy hath payd and given bills to pay for each barrell of<br />
herrings fourteene shillings sterlling per barrrell, and twelve<br />
shillings sterling per hundred weight for the sayd beefe. and for the<br />
sayd pipe=staves eight pounds per thousand, which this Rendent know[?eth GUTTER]<br />
to be true, and that a Contract was made on behalfe of the sayd [?Boddy GUTTER]<br />
