To the first article hee saith and deposeth that in the moneth of September<br />
last past the said shipp the ''Saint Jacob'' (Evert Pening master) was at or in<br />
the port of Lieba on the coast of Pomerland; And while shee was soe<br />
there remayneing, namely on or about the twelveth day of the said moneth<br />
of September last (the winde then blowing at West Nor-West),<br />
there happened a very greate and violent storme, which continued two<br />
dayes and nights space together in greate extremitie, and that by the<br />
violence and force thereof the sayd shipps boate was [?sheered] and<br />
carried away, and utterly lost to the owners thereof, and the shipp<br />
herselfe was inextreame danger of being cast away, together with<br />
the said master and company, who were in danger to loose their lives<br />
notwithstanding all their care and diligence and continuall labour and<br />
