Transcription To the 20th and 21th hee saith hee referreTo the 20th and 21th hee saith hee referreth him selfe to the Registrie<br /> of ths Court and further hee cannot depose/ To the 22th saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot further depose To the 23th hee saith hee referreth him selfe to his foregoeing deposition<br /> and to the lawe And further cannot depose./ To the 24th hee cannot depose of his knowledge but beleeveth all the<br /> parties arlate are English men and subiects of this Commonwealth and subiect<br /> to the Jurisduction of this Court And further hee cannot depose To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true/ To the Interrogatories/ [CENTRE HEADING] To the first hee saith hee was one of the Company of the ''Imployment''<br /> the tyme Interrogate./ To the 2 Interrogatorie hee saith that the shipp ''Imployment'' laye moored with her<br /> Anchors crosse the River from Satterday in the afternoone the 29th of September till<br /> next Wednesday at Evening before the damage<br /> in question happened unto her And further hee cannot answere/ To the 3 hee saith the ''Imployment'' laye about two shipps length to the<br /> Northwards and towards the bowe of the ''James and Martin'' both before and at<br /> the tyme the dammage in question hapned, And saith there was<br /> two other shipps then made fast to each other who lay neere the same place<br /> where the ''Imployment'' lay about a shipps length to the Southward and<br /> to the larboard bowe of the ''Imployment'' the tyme Interrogate, which two<br /> shipps laye safe without dammage soe farr as this deponent knoweth<br /> or hath heard And further to this Interrogatorie hee cannot answere:/ To the 4th hee saith it is usuall for the Masters and companyes of shipps<br /> who come into the River of Thames laden, for the prevention of danger to<br /> moore their shipps with two Anchors, or sometymes more, And<br /> saith the ''Imployement'' laye moored soe with two Anchors both before and at the<br /> tyme shee receaved the dammage in question And further hee cannot answere/ To the 5th hee saith hee can positively affirme (for that hee this deponent did looke<br /> and observe at such tyme as the ''Imployment'' came first to an Anchor) that there was<br /> noe boy appeared then above water to the Anchor of the ''James and Martin''/ To the 6th hee saith the ''James and Martin'' was at an Anchor when the ''Imploy''<br /> ''ment'' came first to an anchor neere her, and was then takeing in of pipe staves<br /> or some other ladeing but whether shee was bound, or how long before shee had layne there, hee knoweth<br /> not, And further hee cannot depose./ To the 7th hee saith hee hah heard that boyes and their roapes have<br /> some tymes bin cut and stolne without the knowledge of the Masters and company<br /> of of the Masters and company<br /> of  +
