The claime of George Ceely and}<br /> Josua Prigg for 5 ballots of canvas in the}<br /> ''Crosse of Jerusalem''.} '''Cheeke dt.''' '''Peter Martenson''' of Pommerland in<br /> North-Holland Mariner, Master of<br /> the said shipp the ''Jerusalems crosse''<br /> aged 44 yeares or thereabouts<br /> sworne and examined. To the 7th article of the said allegation (upon which alone hee is by<br /> direction of the producent examined) and the bill of lading<br /> therein mentioned nowe showed unto him, hee saith and deposeth<br /> that the said bill of lading is one of the three originall bills (all<br /> of one tenour) which hee this deponent signed for the five balots of canvastherein mentioned, and that the subscription of this deponents name<br /> threunto was and is of this deponents owne handwriting. And saith<br /> the contents of the said bill were and are true and soe had and donne<br /> as therein is contained. And otherwise hee cannot depose, there being<br /> noe Invoice produced.
