To the second and third articles he depose … To the second and third articles he deposeth and saith that the arlate<br />
Symob Beale the Master of the arlate shipp the ''Providence''<br />
did tell him the deponent that the arlate Ambrose Gooding<br />
and Oliber Langdon had taken the said shipp to freight,<br />
for the voyage wherin he the deponent was by the said<br />
Beale hyred to goe Boateswaine, which was to Norway, and<br />
back againe to this Port of London, And he saith that<br />
the said shipp went from this Port of London about the<br />
latter end of May or beginning of June last past (to his<br />
best remembrance) and arrived at Swinsound in Norway in June last<br />
And further he cannot depose.
To the fourth article he deposeth and saith that after the<br />
arrivall of the arlate shipp the ''Providence'' at<br />
Swinsound in Norway the Agents or factors of the arlate<br />
Ambrose Gooding and Oliver Langdon did there lade and<br />
putt on board the said shipp for their account the Number<br />
of seaven thousand sixe hundred and a halfe of deales<br />
accompting sixe score to the hundred and not more, And that<br />
after that the said shipps arrivall in this Port of London<br />
he the said Symon Beale the Master of her did deliver out<br />
of his said shipp unto the said Gooding and Langdon<br />
or to their Agents in whole deales halfe deales and<br />
peices of deales the said full and iust Number of seaven<br />
thousand sixe hundred and a halfe of deales accompting<br />
sixe score to the hundred, The premisses he deposeth for that<br />
he being one of the said shipps Company did helpe<br />
in the lading the said deales aboard the sayd shipp at<br />
Norway and alsoe helpt in the unlading and delivering<br />
of them in this River of Thames unto the said Gooding<br />
and Langdon, And further he cannot depose.
To the fifth he cannot depose.
To the sixth he referreth himselfe to the Charter party<br />
arlate and further cannot depose./
To the 7th and 8th articles he cannot depose.
To the ninth article he saith that the arlate Gooding and<br />
Langdon are Englishmen And further knoweth not to depose
To the 10th he referreth himselfe to the Lawes./
To the last he saith his former deposition is true./

To the first he answereth that he hath receaved all his wages for<br />
the voyage interrate And he referreth himselfe to his former<br />
deposition And further cannot answeare.
To the 2d Interrogatory he answereth that he was present at the<br />
delivery of every deale of the said shipps Lading here in the<br />
River, and chalkt it up as he delivered them by particulers<br />
as by tenns, and that he the Rendent did by the said<br />
score or chalke give an account unto the Master of<br />
the delivery of all and every part of the said seaven<br />
thousand sixe hundred and a halfe of deales. And<br />
further he knoweth not to answeare.
