To the second Interrogatory he answereth t … To the second Interrogatory he answereth that he knoweth not<br />
any Lighter called the ''Margaret'' as is interrate, but he<br />
saith that the first time he saw (to his best remembrance) the<br />
''french Lighter'' was at Cocks=key nigh London=bridge when<br />
the dammaged goods (predeposed of) were there taken up, and<br />
that he hath seene the said ''ffrench Lighter'' severall times since And<br />
further he cannot answeare./
To the third, fourth, fifth and sixth Interrogatories he answereth that<br />
he referreth himselfe to his former deposition, And otherwise<br />
he knoweth not to answeare./
To the seaventh Interrogatory he answereth that he this Rendent<br />
was present when by the procurement of the producents two<br />
[?XXXXXXs] of the Custome house did view the damage the<br />
said goods had receaved And otherwise he cannot answeare./
To the eight and ninth Interrogatoryes he answereth that they doe<br />
not concerne him being not aboard the shipp at the time interrogated./

To the sayd allegation in the Acts of Court hee saith that hee this deponent<br />
well knoweth that the allegate John Gayer and Robert Gayer the sonnes<br />
of the allegate Sir John Gayer are respectively in their minorities<br />
for that hee this deponent<br />
sid search the severall Registries of the parish of Saint Andrew Undershaft<br />
and Saint Catherines Creechurch London and therein did dinde that the<br />
sayd John Gayer was Baptised in the said parish of Saint Andrew Undershaft<br />
the seaventeenth day of August in the yeare of our Lord God<br />
one thousand sixe hundred thirty fower And that the sayd<br />
Robert Gayer was Baptized in the sayd parish of Saint Katherines<br />
Creechurch the seaventeenth day of March one thousand<br />
sixe hundred thirty five and thereby knoweth that they have<br />
not atteyned their respective ages of one and twenty yeares,<br />
