Transcription To the Crosse Interogatories:- [CENTRE HEATo the Crosse Interogatories:- [CENTRE HEADING] [GUTTER '''<u>?dt.] Rowe</u>''' To the first negatively to every part thereof:-/ To the second hee saith hee hath knowne the said shipp the ''Golden''<br /> ''falcon'' ever since her Originall building as aforesaid, And saith shee<br /> was built at Serdam upon the proper charges and for the sole Accompt of the<br /> said daniel Thyson the Claymer and by his order and direction as is<br /> predeposed. And further referreth himself to his precedent deposition./. To the third hee saith, the said daniel Thysson paid to this rendent<br /> 163. pounds flemish for the said shipps first sute of sailes, but hat<br /> this rendent was not present at the payment of any moneys for the said shipps<br /> hull or other tackle and apparrell, saying hee this rendent hath observed<br /> in the said producents bookes of accompts that the said shipp did cost<br /> the said producent two thousand and two hundred pounds flemish, or<br /> thereabouts being in English money about thirteene hundred pounds<br /> sterling. And further otherwise then negatively cannot depose;-/ To the fourth hee answereth, That the said shipp upon her last outwards<br /> vpiage was fitted and furnished to sea by this rendent at the charges and<br /> by the order of the said daniel Thyson his this rendents brother. And<br /> otherwise negatively/:- To the fifth hee saith, the interrate Anthony Cornelison was and<br /> continued Master of the said shipp ever since her first originall<br /> building till the time of her seizure in the Voiage in question, and was<br /> constituted Master of her by the said producent, Amd otherwise<br /> cannot depose:-/ To the 6th hee saith the said shipp begann her last outwards voiage<br /> from Middleburgh in Zeeland in Aprill <u>1652</u> bound for Bayon<br /> from whence shee proceeded to mallega in Spaine, and in her<br /> returne thence bound for Zeeland was seized as aforesaid And<br /> otherwise saving his foregoeing deposition hee cannot depose:-/ To the 7th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition saving hee was<br /> not present at the buying of the goods in Controversie, but saith That<br /> the said goods were laden aboard the said shipp by the said factors as<br /> aforesaid as being the [?provenue] of corne and deales and<br /> spiceries formerly sent by the said producent and upon his accompt to<br /> the said factors as also for and in consideration of the said shipps freight<br /> acquired in her said Voiage from Bayonne to Mallega, as this rendent<br /> is well assured both by his constant employment as Agent to and<br /> for the said producent, as by the correspondence which hee hath<br /> with, and the letters of advice and Invoyce or aaccompt of the said<br /> goods which hee received from the said factors and thereby is fully<br /> confirmed in the trueth of the proprietie by him predeposed.
