aboard her and this deponent and such of the said shipp the<br />
''Maries'' company as were in her fearing her said sinking<br />
betooke themselves to her boate for safeguard of their<br />
lives and soe left the ''Mary'' adrift.<br />
Abd afterwards as hee hath heard shee drove off to sea, and<br />
was met with by a fflushinger and carried hence to<br />

To the first article hee saith that hee this deponent was one of<br />
the company of the said shipp the ''dove'' ever since the moneth<br />
of July last to the time of her retourne from Newcastle the<br />
last voyage which was about two monethes since, and<br />
went the voyage in question in her the voyage before her said last voyage and thereby well knoweth as<br />

any shipp, boate or vessell whatsoever from the time of her<br />
departure from Gravesend to the time of her arrivall at<br />
