To the 3d Interrogatorie hee saith, That hee this examinate for the reasons before<br />
expressed well knoweth, That the shipp the ''ffrancis'' interrate was really [?bound]<br />
and designed with the lading before expressed to saile directly from the said<br />
Island of Palma to the Port of Southampton, and accordingly the said shipp<br />
did proceed upon the said Voyage and designe, and that upon the 29th day of<br />
Aprill 1654 old stile, the said shipp being with her said lading in her direct Course<br />
for Southampton was mett with surprized and taken by three dutch[?or]<br />
hollands shipps of warr, who seized the said shipp and her said lading then<br />
aboard her, and brought the same to Vigo in Galicia in the dominions of<br />
the king of Spaine, where the said seizors sold and disposed of the said<br />
shipp and goods without giveing any recompense or satisfaction to the said<br />
kelsey and Companie, and saith that the said kelseys goods in Consortshipp with<br />
the rest of his Companie concerned in the said Cargo were aboard at the time<br />
of the said seizure and sold and disposed of by the dutch as aforesaid, and the said<br />
kelsey and Companie were thereby utterly deprived thereof, And further hee cannot depose<br />
saving that the said shipp the ''ffrancis'' did depart from the said Island of<br />
Palma about the 9th or 10th of Aprill last, as this deponent now remembreth, and<br />
was seized as aforesaid upon the 29th of the said moneth. Th epremisses<br />
hee well knoweth by sadd experience being aboard the said shipp ''ffrancis''<br />
during the said Voyage in the quality aforesaid, and being brought up by the<br />
