Transcription aforesaid, and two other bills of lading oaforesaid, and two other bills of lading of the same tenor remaining in the Registry<br /> of this Court, whereby it is declared that the said silver and moneyes were laden<br /> aforesaid for the accompt of the producent James Pinquett. And otherwise hee<br /> cannot depose. To the 6th hee saith That the ffactors predeposed after the lading of the silver and <br /> moneys aforesaid did send letter of advise and the Originall bills annexed and <br /> now showed unto him, unto the producent James Pinquett concerning the lading of <br /> the said silver and money for his accompt Which hee deposeth for that hee this<br /> deponent being here at london did before there was any rumor here of the seizure of <br /> the said shipp, recive a letter of advise from the producent intimating that [?the]<br /> said silver and moneys were laden aboard the ''Morning starr'' Michael van<br /> Lubkin master for the producents accompt, and that hee had recieved from his<br /> said ffactors advise and bills of lading for the same, And desired this deponent<br /> in case the said Shipp Should be seized and brought into England, to Claime the<br /> said silver and moneys in his behalfe. And otherwise hee cannot depose saving<br /> that hee verily beleeveth and is in Conscience persyaded that the said bills of<br /> lading were signed and firmed by the proper hand of the arlate Michael <br /> van Lubkin at Cadiz and are true and reall bill of lading. To the seaventh hee saith, That for the reasons predeposed, hee this deponent verily<br /> beleeveth, That the silver and moneys arlate were really and truely provided had<br /> and put on board the shipp the ''Morning Starr'' arlate to and for the proper <br /> accompt and adventure of the said producent as is predeposed And otherwise <br /> hee cannot depose To the eighth hee saith and deposeth, That after the lading of the silver and<br /> moneyes as aforesaid, the shipp the ''Morning Star'' arlate sett sayle there[?upon]<br /> from Cadiz towards Dunquirke or Ostend and was in her Course thitherwards was<br /> surprized and taken by some of the Shipps of this Commonwealth and brought<br /> up into the river of Thames where shee now is, And saith the said silver moneyes<br /> and bills of lading, as this deponent verily beleeveth were aboard the said shipp<br /> at the time of the said seizure and came to the hands and possession of the <br /> seizors and Officers of this Commonwealth. And otherwise hee cannot depose. To the Interrogatories. To the first hee said hee was not aboard the shipp the ''Morning Starr'' at the time of the <br /> seizure interrate nor ever belonged to the same, And otherwise deposeth not. To the second hee saith hee hath knowne the interrate James Pinquett for 10 years last <br /> past. Peter Janson do Yonghe for about 6 years and David Klinkert for about <br /> 5. years last past. And otherwise hee cannot depose/. To the third hee saith, That by reason of the bills of lading and letters of advise <br /> predeposed hee is well assured that the said ffactors did at Cadiz aforesaid lade [?or] <br /> cause to bee laden the silver and moneys predeposed on board the shipp the <br /> ''Morning Starr'' interrate, And saith the interrate Peter Janson de Youghe<br /> and David Clincker are ffactors to the interrate Pinquett, but not hee for them<br /> And otherwise deposeth not: To the 4th hee the interrate Pinquett is a ffactor borne neere [?Cominen] in fflanders<br /> Peter Janson de Yonghen at Iperen, and David Clincker, as hee beleieeth [?to]<br /> be native of Brudges in fflanders.
