afterwards to Cadiz in Spaine from whence shee came, as this deponent beleiveth upon<br />
the voyage wherein shee was taken by the shipps of this Commonwealth<br />
the said Otto George before at and since the time of the Redemption aforesaid<br />
constantly continueing Master and Commander of the said shipp for the [?XXXX]<br />
of the said Owners as hee beleeveth, till the time of her said seizure<br />
by the said English shipps. And otherwise hee cannot depose./
To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true./
To the Interrogatories:- [CENTRE HEADING]
To the first hee saith hee is a Native of Saint Gall in Switzerland, and<br />
saith his residence hath bin for about five yeares last past sometimes<br />
at Marseilles and sometimes at Tholon in the quality of Consull as aforesaid<br />
and formerly for all the time interrate did travell sometimes in Italie<br />
sometimes in ffrance and other parts, And otherwise negatively:/
To the second hee referreth himselfe to his foregoing deposition to the first article<br />
of the said Allegation And otherwise cannot depose:-/
To the third hee saith the ship interrate remained about three moneths<br />
at Tholone after the seizure interrate, and saith hee this deponent was<br />
sometimes at Tholon and sometimes at Marseilles during the said shipps<br />
aboard at Tholon, and that the said Otto George remained about a month<br />
at Genoa in the said time upon the occasion predeposed./
To the fourth hee saith, That the Chevalier de la ferriere, ad one [?CXXX]<br />
dDu parc a Knight of Malta were the parties that sold the shipp interrate to the<br />
interrate Otto George, and saith there was one bill of sale made of the<br />
same, but after the agreement made for the said shipp as predeposed the same<br />
was published according to the usuall Custome in those parts of ffrance, and<br />
the [?said] Otto George by the said sellers reinvested in his said shipp Otherwise<br />
hee cannot depose./
To the fifth hee saith, That the said Otto George being at Genoa did<br />
himself remitt the moneys interrate by exchange to Marseilles and Tholon<br />
And otherwise saving his foregoeing deposition hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the 6:th hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition, And [?XXX]<br />
not of any frenchman or Subject of the french King that payd or [?XXX]<br />
any mmoney to the said Otto George for or towards the redemption of the<br />
said shipp:-/
To the 7.th hee saith, That heee knoweth the interrate Vincent van<br />
Campen and John de Windt Merchants residing at Cadiz, and Dabiel<br />
de Leon and ffrancisco Panninck Merchants dwelling at Sevill in<br />
Spaine obnely by relation or reputation, and of the rest of the persons<br />
hee hath no knowledge at all. And further hee cannot depose.
