To the 12th he saith that he did putt aboard teh sayd shipp as belonging<br />
to himselfe and Mr Webber aforesayd 6. butts of brandy. 2 butts and<br />
3 hogsheads of vinegar 2 pipes and 3 hogsheads of white sale. and saith<br />
that one March an English Mariner aboard did embezle<br />
and wast a good quantity of the sayd Brandy whereupon the sayd<br />
Du Boys being one of the Masters of the sayd shipp did<br />
beat the sayd March and turned him out of the sayd shipp at<br />
Brest without wages there being none then due to him And<br />
saith if this Rendent had not interposed the sayd Du Boy would<br />
have sent the sayd Marsh to prison. And otherwise he<br />
neyther knoweth nor hath heard. And further cannot depose.
