Transcription Repeated Thomas humble<br /> WilliamRepeated Thomas humble<br /> William Josson and henr<br /> Bainbrigg The personall answeares of '''Thomas humble'''<br /> '''William Josson henry Bainbrigg'''<br /> '''Oliver Morris and William [?Watson]'''<br /> made to the positions of a pretended allegation<br /> given against them on the behalfe of [?MXXX]<br /> [?Bat] the Relict and Executrix of the last<br /> will and testament of Thomas Batt<br /> deceased followeth videlicet. To the first position of the said pretended allegation<br /> they answeare and accept the contents thereof, soe<br /> farre forth as they make for them, and beleeve that<br /> within the time arlate, the arlate Edward<br /> Arlabeer and Thomas Middleton were owners of three<br /> sixteenth partes of the shipp arlate and noy of any<br /> more or greater part thereof as they beleeve<br /> And otherwise they nor either of them doe not<br /> beleeve the said position to be true in any parte<br /> thereof. To the second position of the said pretended allegation<br /> they answeare and beleeve that in and by all the<br /> time arlate the alate Thomas Batt did contract<br /> for and was in possession of one sixteenth part and<br /> noe more of the shipp arlate and of her tackle<br /> and furniture as followeth and not otherwise videlicet<br /> he the said Batt did bargaine and agree with<br /> Thomas Middleton one of the parties in this suite, to<br /> buy the said sixteenth part of the said shipp<br /> and of her tackle and furniture of him the said<br /> Middleton and to pay him two hundred and forty<br /> pounds lawfull mony for the same and that<br /> upon the said agreement the said Thomas Middleton<br /> did maje seale and deliver unto him the said<br /> Batt, a bill of sale of the said sixteenth part<br /> of the said shipp and of her tackle and furniture<br /> by vertue whereof he the said Batt was [?de facto]<br /> in possession of the said sixteenth part But<br /> these Rendents beleeve that neither the said<br /> Thomas Batt in his life time nor any other<br /> personlife time nor any other<br /> person  +
