To the 6th and 7th pretensed positions this rendent<br />
answereth that he accepteth the<br />
contents of this article (sic) so far as as they make<br />
for him, and beleeveth that in, and by the<br />
Charterparty made for the voyadge<br />
in question itt was, and is covenanted, concluded<br />
and agreed by and between the arlate<br />
Thomas fflawes, and this rendent that the<br />
arlate shipp the ''Unity'' should stay and<br />
abide att the Island of the Canaries to unlade<br />
and relade this rendents goods by the<br />
space of 45 dayes, and also after the<br />
expiration of the said 45 dayes the arlate<br />
shipp the ''Unity'' ws to remaine 20 dayes<br />
longer on Demorage and this rendent<br />
beleeveth that the arlate Thomas fflawes<br />
did remaine, and abide with the said shipp<br />
the ''Unity'' att the Canaries aforesaid from<br />
the 20th day of October arlate unto the<br />
24th of November followeing and no longer<br />
as he beleeveth, and this rendent beleeveth<br />
that in case the said fflawes had staid and<br />
remained att the Island of the Canaries<br />
the whole 45 dayes, which he was bound<br />
to doe by Charterparty and the 20 dayes<br />
agreed on for demorage the arlate<br />
shipp the ''Unity'' might and would have<br />
been fully laden with wines and<br />
other goods for the account of this rendent<br />
and this rendent beleeveth, that by meanes<br />
of the said fflawes his departure with the<br />
arlate shipp the ''Unity'' from the Canaries<br />
before the time limited in Charterparty<br />
for his stay there was expired, this rendents<br />
factors, agents, or correspondents att the Canaries<br />
arlate were forced, and constrained to lade<br />
divers goods aboard other shipps for<br />
