deceased and George Potts doe<br />
followe/
To the first pretended position they and either<br />
of them answer that for theire parts they<br />
doe not beleeve the said position to bee<br />
true in any parte thereof
To the second pretensed position they and<br />
either of them answer that they refer<br />
themselves to the charter party made by<br />
these Rendents for the said voyadge and<br />
remaineing in the Registry of this<br />
Courte which they beleeve to bee<br />
signed and sealed with the hands and<br />
Seales of these rendents And otherwise<br />
for theire parts they nor either of them<br />
doe not beleeve the said position to bee<br />
true in any parte thereof
To the third pretended position they and<br />
either of them answer and referre<br />
themselves to the foresaid charter party and<br />
beleeveth that the shippe the ''Comfort''<br />
arlate did departe and set saile<br />
from this porte of London to Virginia<br />
with divers goods and merchandizes<br />
in her belongeing to these Rendents<br />
and in her course thither these<br />
rendents beleeve within five or<br />
sixe dayes after her departure out<br />
of the downes the said shipp proved />
