this rendent beleeveth that divers of<br />
them were much leaked out some three<br />
or foure inches and some were more ut credit<br />
but what the same did containe this<br />
Rendent doeth not knowe in regard hee<br />
did not gage the same nor can tell what<br />
to beleeve therein And this Rendent fur=<br />
ther beleeveth that after such time as hee<br />
this rendent came and arrived to this<br />
porte of London hee this Rendent did<br />
delier out of the said shipp all the said<br />
Caske and oules which were receaved<br />
in att Legorne aforesaid except such oiles as<br />
were leaked out and spoilt and lost by the insuffficiency<br />
of the said Caske but howe much the<br />
same were this rendent knoweth not<br />
in regard hee did not see the same<br />
measured And further hee referreth<br />
himselfe to the depositions of witnessses<br />
examined on his parte in this cause And<br />
otherwise for his parte hee doeth not<br />
beleeve the said position to bee true in<br />
any parte thereof
To the seaventh pretensed position hee<br />
answereth and beleeveth that a Tonne<br />
of the said oiles brought home in the said shipp<br />
the ''Lisborne merchant'' from Legorne<br />
to this porte of London the time<br />
