Then appeared the said Isaac Phillipps one … Then appeared the said Isaac Phillipps one<br />
of the parties therein mentioned in whose presence the said Sdvocate<br />
alleadged that the said Phillips did Contract with the Commissioners<br />
for prize goods for the number of 40 dozen of Looking glasses<br />
at 24 ''s'' a dozen and produced the originall Contract in writinge<br />
under the hand of the said Phillips wherein it is expressed<br />
that he bought the number of 40 dozen of Looking glasses<br />
more or lesse at the arate of 24 ''s'' a dozen which contracte the<br />
said Phillips did acknowledge to have made the said<br />
contracte and that the same is by him subscribed and hee<br />
alleadged that hee tendred the money for the same to the<br />
Commissioners for prize Goods who refused to refused (sic) to receive the<br />
same which allegation the Judges at his petition admitted and<br />
the same beinge admitted and repeated and the said<br />
Advocate not beleevinge the same the Judges assigned the<br />
said Phillips to proove the same upon tuesday next and at the<br />
petition of Mr Smith in the presence of the said Advocate<br />
appearinge for the said John Brewer the Judges did<br />
decree an attachment against the said Brewer in case he<br />
shall not appeare upon Munday next and shew cause why<br />
hee should not pay the money due from him for the goods<br />
by him bought of the said Comissioners and did decree the rest<br />
of the said parties who did not appeare to be attached et cetera

of the said Withers in not givinge his<br />
fuller answeare to the allegation given and<br />
admitted against him accordinge to the monition of<br />

attached untill hee shall give a fuller answeare to<br />
the said allegation./.
