Ad 2dum Arlum dei libelli deponit et dicit That whilest the sayd Shipp remaining<br />
at Malaga, and before there was any suite begun concerning the matters now [?att]<br />
difference the sayd Alderman Gregorie told this Deponent that his Sonne<br />
at Malaga had taken fraight there for the goods arlate in the [?arlate]<br />
Shipp in question, and had sent some of them on bord, or to the Shipps side<br />
but the sayd Jospeh Jarado refused to take them in contrary to the agreement<br />
made with him, or to that effect. And as to the agreement for the ffraight arlate<br />
and the particulars of the goods contracted for, although this Deponent was not<br />
an Eye and eare Witnes of them, yet hee having seene and perused an authentique<br />
transcript of the proceedings at Mallaga (touching all particulars relating to this<br />
busines) at the tyme of this his Examination, written in the Spanish tongue which<br />
this Deponent well understandeth, and attested and firmed by one Pedro Ballesteros<br />
an eminent Notary in Mallaga well knowne to this Deponent, and [?subattested]<br />
by some other Notaryes also knowen to this Deponent to be of undoubted<br />
credit, this Deponent verily beleeveth that the contents of this article are<br />
