Ad 10 rendit that her has bin examined as a witness touching the ''fortune'' of Dantzick in this<br />

Ad primum arlum deponit that the arlate Samuel Beake is this<br />
deponents sonne and was borne in the parish of Saint Buttolph Billens<br />
gate in this city of London, and here educated by this deponent<br />
his father and was and is a subiect of our soveraigne Lord the King<br />
and for such commonly accounted.
Ad 2 deponit that the said Samuel liveth at Bourdeaux as a merchant<br />
stranger and factor being an Englishman and a batchelour<br />
noe housekeeper but a lodger there, And that hath driven and doth<br />
drive a very considerable trade in merchandizing from Rochell, Oloroone<br />
and other places in ffrance to Corke and other places in Ireland<br />
upon his owe accout And to that purpose keepes his factors at the respective places, which<br />
hee knoweth being frequently advised by letters of such his<br />
negotiation and traffique [?XXXX] salvis subsequon nescit.

hee had bought a shipp Peter Knight Master and English shipp then<br />

and this deponent desireing a share with him therein, he denyed this deponent<br />
adviseing him that hee had laded her with wines and pruines for<br />
Dublin in Ireland to bee delivered and consigned to Josuah Allen a<br />
merchant of Dublin, and that she was upon her voyage. But when shee<br />
had ended her voyage hee wrote<br />
this deponent that hee might then have a share. And the arlate Joshua Allen<br />
wrote this deponent about May last that hee had Received a<br />
lading of wines and pruines and had sold or disposed of them or the greater part of them for the said<br />
Samuells account. and that hee intended to have laden her back for Rochell<br />
with pipe staves. Which this deponent forbad him in regard they were<br />
Counterband goods and soe counter manded his said sonnes order. Et<br />
alr nescit.
Ad 6 deponit that the arlate Baily did about the month of July<br />
last by advice and order from the said producent lade and caused to bee<br />
