to leape into the sea, and by Gods Providence did swime to the Boate<br />
which belonged to the said ship, which her Company had lost<br />
upon the sands, And further cannot depose: saving all the mariners<br />
schedulate did serve in her untill the time of the said<br />
Bilging which was on or about the thirteenth day of December<br />
last. and further Cannot depose:/:
To the 8th hee saith that from the time of the said ships departure<br />
from Gravesend upon the said Voyage unto the time of<br />
the Delivery of her last goods at Scanderoone was the space of seaven monethes and 3 weekes or thereabouts<br />
and for soe long time the foresaid mariners ought to be paid: their wages<br />
And further Cannot depose; Saving his<br />
foregoeing Deposition to which hee referreth./.

To the first and second articles of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth<br />
that from the time of the Arlate ship the ''Anne'' her departure<br />
from the port of London on the voyage in question untill the<br />
time of her Bilging hereafter mentioned the arlate<br />
ffrancis ffowke (Merchant of this City (whom this deponent knoweth) Commonly accounted<br />
owner of part of her, and soe hee verily beleeveth hee was<br />
for that the said ffrancis fowke New named the said<br />
ship the ''Anne'' shee being before called the ''Rainbowe''; and alsoe<br />
paid severall bills, for sailes, and Blocks, which were delivered<br />
on board the said Ship the ''Anne'', a little before her goeing<br />
out on the said voyage; And saith that one Mr ffowke<br />
at Cyprus Correspondent of the said ffrancis ffowke; told<br />
this deponent. that the said ship did wholly belong to him and<br />
his brother ffrancis ffouke merchant of London, or to that<br />
effect. and saith further that the arlate Wm Malim who was Master of<br />
the said ship the greatest part of the voyage in Question, was<br />
made Master of the said ship (as hee told this deponent) by the<br />
said Mr ffrancis ffouke; and further hee saith hee Cannot<br />
Depose./.
