aged 32 yeeres or thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the nineteenth article of the said allegation hee saith and deposeth that shortly after<br />
the arivall of the shipp the ''Golden Sun'' of Amsterdam from Cadiz in this<br />
port which was in or about the beginning of July last, her oiles being landed<br />
this deponent (who was imployed as Cooper in taking them up) did view and<br />
gage them upon such their landing, and found that to the quantitie of three<br />
and twenty pipes (saving thirtie [?XXXX]) of the said oiles were leaked out of the<br />
caskes of oile brought hence in the said shipp, and was credibly informed by<br />
such as had bin aboard, that such leakines happened by ill stowage, and by<br />
reason that some of the casekes were stowed amongst salt without convenient<br />
bedds, by the unskilfulnes or neglect of the master and<br />
company, and soe it appeared to this deponent for that the caskes were otherwise as hee saith<br />
strong and good. and further deposeth not.
