Transcription full pay upon the 11th of June 1657: or nefull pay upon the 11th of June 1657: or neere thereabouts and [? GUTTER]<br /> in the said ship ''Anne and Margaret'' from Gravesend to Redon in<br /> ffrance, and there unladed her Lading of Coles and Lead, and tooke in [? GUTTER]<br /> and carried the same to Lisbone, and there delivered the same, and [? GUTTER]<br /> in sugars, Tobaccoes, and other Comodityes, and carried them to<br /> Marsellis, and there delivered part of them and tooke in more [xxxx GUTTER] and some [xxxx GUTTER]<br /> and sailed to Ligorne, and there delivered her whole Lading [? GUTTER]<br /> tooke in goods there, and carried the same to Marsellis, and there [?sold GUTTER]<br /> them, and after the ship was Careened shee received in [? GUTTER]<br /> some ballast was heaved out of the said ship, and the two<br /> Chests of sugar unladen and there was a Cargoe<br /> of Hides, wax, boxwood, and some other Comodityes laden<br /> onboard her, with which shee departed from Tunis in the month<br /> of June 1658 intending To carry the same to Ligorne<br /> but in her course thither, upon the third or fourth of June<br /> 1658 or thereabouts, shee was spyed by a Spanish ship of<br /> warr, which chased her from the morning till about three or<br /> foure of the Clock in the afternoone, and then fetched up the<br /> ''Anne and Margaret'' and Shott severall shotts at the ''Anne''<br /> ''and Margaret'' and fought with her, untill about Eleven of<br /> the Clock at Night, in which fight one of the ''Anne and Margarets''<br /> Quartermaster was killed the master himselfe mortally wounded, and<br /> seaven more wounded, and some very sorely And the ''Anne and Margaret''<br /> was very much torne and battered in her Hull, sailes and Rigging.
