since this Deponent being informed by one of the Townsmen that<br />
the said Mr Peter Ayleward lived with his wife and family in<br />
an Alley at London Wall, this Deponent then went to see him there<br />
and there found him living with his wife and family<br />
and afterwards the said Mr Ayleward removed from thence<br />
and liveth at Present with his wife and family (as this Deponent is Credibly Informed) in<br />
Leaden Hall streete, London, And saith hee the said Ayleward<br />
was and is a subject of this Comonwealth and soe Comonly<br />
Accounted and reputed. And further cannot depose../.
To the Interrogatories. [CENTRE HEADING]
To the first hee saith hee was borne at Waterford aforesaid, and<br />
hath lived for theise three yeeres last here in London, and<br />
for about seaven yeeres before hee was imployed in the<br />
States Service as a Land Souldier, and saith hee this deponent a<br />
greate way off is allyed to the said Ayleward, and to the rest<br />
Negatively:/:
To the second and third hee Cannot answer, not knowing the ship<br />
Interrate, nor any thing of her voyage./
To the 4th hee hath not soe deposed:/.
To the 5th hee saith as aforesaid that hee hath knowmne the said Ayleward,<br />
for about twenty Nine yeeres, and the Interrogated Betts for<br />
about sixteene yeeres, last, and the said Ayleward is a Married<br />
man, but the said Betts (for ought this Deponent Knoweth to the<br />
Contrary) is a Batchelour, and to the rest Negatively for his Parte.

To the 10th article of the said Allegation (upon which alone hee is Examined<br />
by direction of the Producent) hee saith that hee this Deponent well<br />
knoweth and is well acquainted with the arlate Peter Ayleward and soe hath done for about<br />
seaven and twenty yeeres last, and saith the said Ayleward is<br />
a Native of Waterford in Ireland<br />
and this Deponent (being borne there) hath there gone to schoole with<br />
him, and there this Deponent knowe his ffather, and about seaventeen<br />
yeeres since the sayd Ayleward came from thence into, England<br />
and after hee had spent some time here in England hee<br />
went into Ireland againe, and there Maried, and about seaven<br />
yeeres last, or rather more the said Mr Ayleward came from Ireland<br />
to this City, and about a yeere after tooke a house in three tunne Alley at London wall<br />
and there lived with his wife and ffamily, and about halfe a<br />
