she was unlading and putting wines, severa … she was unlading and putting wines, severall pipes of wynes<br />
marked with the three markes aforesayd which the sayd William<br />
Warren the Supracargo of the ''Mary and Joyce'' had told this deponent<br />
that the sayd forty pipes of wine were marked with which were<br />
soe laden at the Canaries under the fictitious name of<br />
Adrian Turin and consigned to be delivered to him in London, and<br />
therefore hee beleeveth them to bee the same wines there soe laden and<br />
which properly belonged to the sayd Antonio Rodrigues under the<br />
sayd fictitious name, And further saving his foregoeing deposition hee<br />
cannot depose./
To the last hee saith his foregoeing deposition is true/
To the Interrogatories on the behalfe of his highnes<br />
the Lord Protector
To the first Interrogatorie hee saith hee was borne in Civill in Spaine and<br />
a subiect of the King of Spaine while hee lived there, but hath lived<br />
in London for these five yeares last or thereabouts and for that tyme<br />
hath bin and is a subiect of this Commonwealth And to the rest<br />
of the Interrogatories he answereth negatively./
To the 2 Interrogatorie hee saith hee hath knowne the<br />
Interrogate Antonio Rodrigues Robles for these twelve<br />
or thirteene yeares last past and saith as hee hath heard<br />
and beleeveth hee is a Portuguese by birth And saith hee hath<br />
knowne him to bee an Inhabitant of London for these<br />
five yeares last past or thereabouts<br />
for fower yeares and a halfe of which<br />
five yeares the said Antonio hath bin a married <br />
man and a housekeeper in London and hee saith hee<br />
this deponent liveth in house with the sayd Antonio and<br />
is his factor and Agent and payeth his duties for him<br />
to the Church and parish where hee liveth and taxes abd<br />
Contributions and Assessemts to the Commonwealth And<br />
thereby knoweth that hee this deponent did in the behalfe of<br />
the sayd Antonio pay two pounds for the last six moneths<br />
assesento for this Commonwealth And further to this<br />
Interrogatorie hee cannot answeare./
To the 3 Interrogatorie hee saith the sayd Antonio Rodrigues<br />
Robles did pay customes for the wines mentioned in this<br />
deponentses mentioned in this<br />
