Mariner, aged 32 yeares or thereabouts, sworne<br />
as aforesaid, saith as followeth, videlicet.
That on thursday last in the afternoon there came one<br />

Tailer) aboard the shipp the ''Angell'' of London (whereof<br />
his precontest Nicholas Arent was master) then being<br />
a little below the hermitage, where the said master<br />
and company (whereof this deponent was one) were clearing<br />
her to goe downe and take in ballast, and being soe come<br />
aboard accompanied with fowre watermen, the said Tailer<br />
said that hee arrested her in my Lord Protectors name, and<br />
the said master asking for the officer of the Admiraltie, and<br />
the said Tailer making light thereof, the said master said<br />
that hee would carry her againe ashore, but the said<br />
Tailer said noe, hee would have her carried over to the<br />
other side, and soe commanded the said watermen, and<br />
they with the help of Captaine Currall who came<br />
afterwards aboard, carried her over to the other side<br />
and fastened her at Rederiff wall, and tooke downe her<br />
sailes, and rigging, and afterwards the said Tailer found<br />
the said master and company (whereof this deponent as<br />
aforesaid was one) out of her and turned them ashore<br />
and tooke the said shipp and provisions and necessaries of<br />
the master and companie, into his possession and<br />
dispossessed the said master and companie and owners thereof
