To the second article hee saith and deposeth that much about<br />
this time twelve moneth the said Balthazar and John Coymans<br />
sett out and imployed the said shipp from Amsterdam on a trading<br />
voyage for the Canaries, and sent in her for their owne accompt<br />
fifteene packs of goods and consigned the same to their factor or<br />
agent there, and the said shipp and goods safely arrived there<br />
namely at the Canaries, where the said 15 packs were delivered<br />
to their said factor, named don louis da Victoria, which hee knoweth<br />
because hee this deponent went out from Amsterdam stiersman<br />
of her, and coming to dunkirke to take in passengers, the skipper<br />
that then was, was put by, by meanes of ill governement of<br />
the said shipp, and this deponent was constitutes master in his place<br />
by the said Balthazar and John Coymans the said owners of the<br />
said shipp, and there[?by] and all the documents and accompts<br />
and for they sett and fitted her out hee knoweth the said Balthazar and John<br />
Coymans to be the true and lawfull owners of the said shipp and<br />
of the said fifteene packs. And otherwise hee cannot depose.
To the third and fourth articles and the schedule annexed hee<br />
saith that after the arivall of the said shipp at the Canaries<br />
and that shee jhad delivered the said fifteene packs, there were<br />
at Santa Cruze in the Ile of Teneriff in the moneth<br />
of June last past laden by the said don Louis de Victoria,<br />
to be carried to Amsterdam and there delivered to and for the<br />
accompt of the said Balthazar and John Coymans, 770 peeces<br />
of logwood 491 quintalls. 1339 sticks more of Log or<br />
Brazele wood conteyning 102 quintalls, three cases of Camperhiana<br />
No. 1. 2. 3. marked with the first marke in the margfent. 127 hides
