To the 14th hee saith hee was not of the Company of any of the shipps<br />
that made the seizure/
To the 15th hee saith hee did never enter into the sayd shipp
To the 16th hee saith hee never sawe and perused any of the writings<br />

To the 17th hee saith that soe farr as hee knoweth hee never saawe the shipp<br />
the ''Saint George'' at Amsterdam/

To the 19th hee saith in the beginning of the yeare 1649 hee lived at Rotterdam<br />
and there continued till June 1652, and then hee came for England<br />
and lived in East Smithfeild till about this tyme was two yeares, and<br />
then went to Rotterdam and there and too and fro in holland lived about<br />
five moneths and then returned for England. and ever sincethen hath<br />
lived in East Smithfeild where his now dwelling is And further hee cannot<br />
depose./

To the 21th hee saith hee never saw any silver delivered out of the<br />
sayd shippe ''Saint George'' at Amsterdam to any person soe farr as hee<br />
knoweth./

To the 25th hee saith hee was not at Cadiz and saving that the sayd<br />
three shipps and Masters by Common report came from Cadiz<br />

To the 29th hee saith it is usuall for shipps of severall States<br />
to meete at the Port of a freind and to departe togeather and<br />
yet to sayle each shipp to her owne proper home or place of<br />
consignement And further cannot depose./;
