other parts of Spaine and send rich goods thither And that their<br />
ffactors in Spaine doe usually make them returnes in Silver And<br />
otherwise hee cannot depose./
To the third hee saith that the names both of laders and of those<br />
for whose Accompt any silver is laden are well enough knowne<br />
to those concerned therein albeit the names in the bills are left with<br />
blankes or otherwise obscured, such fictitious names being only<br />
prevention of discovery as aforesayd<br />
And otherwise saving his<br />
foregoeing deposition hee cannot depose/
To the 4th hee answereth negatively/
To the 5th 6th and 7th hee saith hee verily beleeveth that severall persons<br />
living in Antwerp, Gannte, dunquirke, Lile, and other parts and<br />
places of fflanders and Braband Subiects of the Kinge of Spaine<br />
had the voyage in question severall and great quantities of silver and<br />
plate laden and seized in the shipps the ''Sampson'' ''Salvador'' and<br />
''Saint George'' in question And otherwise saving as aforesayd hee<br />
cannot depose, saving hee hath severall tymes heard Merchants of<br />
good worth and quality saye and affirme that many of the<br />
Marchants of Gaunte, Lile, Antwerpe, dunquirke, and other<br />
parts of fflanders and Brabant Subiects of the sayd Kinge<br />
had much plate in the sayd shipps./
