aged 26 yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined.
To the first article hee saith and deposeth that hee well knoweth the arlate<br />
Beniamin Gunson and hath soe donne for theise seaven yeaares last past, and<br />
saith hee was the time arlate master of the shipp the ''Chase'' arlate and<br />
had the Commannd of her as master of her, and for and as such hee<br />
was commonly accompted and reputed, which hee knoweth having bin aboard<br />
her and sseing him in that commannd.
To the second and third articles and the schedule therin mentioned nowe<br />
read unto him hee saith and deposeth that the producent John Cooke<br />
was the time arlate the true and lawfull owner and proprietor of all<br />
and singular the fish and caske schedulated and for such commonly<br />
accompted, namely of a hundred of drie fish, a hundred more of<br />
fish, fower hundred Northsea Codd, foure hundred and a halfe of<br />
drie fish more, a barrell of redd herrings, and of the emptie caske arlate.<br />

libellate and more particulalry at the severall dayes and times schedulated<br />
did by this deponent his serbvant at the instance and request of the said<br />
