To the second Interrogatorie hee saith that some part of the Merchants tobaccoe was<br />
unsold at Santa Cruse Interrogate but the reason thereof hee knoweth not and saith<br />
hee knoweth not of any tobaccoe belonging to the merchants which was throwne<br />
over board And he further saith the sayd Browneing the Master of the ''ffortune''<br />
did in this deponents presence quarrell and fight with one ffreeman Browne the Carpenter of the sayd<br />
shipp at Santa Cruse because the sayd Browne refused to doe what the sayd Master<br />
commanded him And also the sayd master did at Santa Cruse on board the<br />
shipp of one Mr Paine, fight with and quarrell with the Interrogate Mr<br />
Clowbery touching some wards which passed betweene them at<br />
supper in the sayd Paines shipp, this hee deposeth being alsoe then at supper<br />
onboard the sayd shipp And further to this Interrogatorie hee cannot answere/
To the 3 Interrogatorie hee saith the sayd Browneing the tyme Interrogatorie was bound with<br />
the shipp ''ffortune'' from Santa Cruse to Salley to receave the proceede and<br />
returne of goods sold there, and saith hee the sayd Browneing did at Santa<br />
Cruse take in on board the sayd shipp forty and odd Moores and Jewes and divers<br />
goods belonging to them to be transported upon freight to Salley but<br />
by stresse of weather as is predeposed was forced to land the sayd passagers<br />
and some of their goods (soe many as they could conveniently carrie over land)<br />
at Tittiwan Interrogatorie And further to this Interrogatorie hee cannot answere/
To the 4th Interrogatorie hee saith hee was present when the Interrogate Robert<br />
Browning did at the rate of nynteene ducketts a kintell bargaine for and<br />
buy of the sayd Moores and Jewes about two or three and twenty Kintells of bees<br />
waxe, but upon or for whose Accompt the same was bought hee knoweth not<br />
And further to this Interrogatorie hee cannot depose./
To the 5th hee saith the shipp ''ffortune'' in her passage from Cape Spe[?r]ate did<br />
make Pedras Tower for Saint Sebastians, but saith the same was not done by Thomas<br />
Browneing as is Interrogate but by Robert Browning his Mate then Pilott of the sayd shipping his Mate then Pilott of the sayd shipp +
