To the fourth hee saith hee well knoweth the arlate Abraham Maysart<br />

for all the said time bin and is an Inhabitant of Amsterdam and a subiect<br />
of the Lords the States of the United Netherlands and a merchant of good<br />
accompt, which hee knoweth being in Amsterdam for the said time and<br />
being there well acquainted with him, and for such as aforesaid hee the said<br />
Abraham was and is commonly accompted and reputed. And otherwise hee cannot<br />
depose.

To the first hee saith hee is a native of harlem in holland and lived alwaies there<br />
till such his going to live as aforesaid at Amsterdam, and otherwise negatively.
To the second hee referreth himselfe to his foregoeing deposition and cannot otherwise depose.
To the third negatively for his part, and cannot otherwise answer.
To the fourth hee cannot answer saving as aforesaid, for hee was not in the voyage<br />
nor knoweth ought thereof.

To the 8th hee saith the interrogated Abraham Maysart is a man of about 50 yeares<br />
of age, married and hath a sonne of three or foure and twenty yeares of age, and<br />
liveth in the heere graft at Amsterdam, And beleeveth him to be a<br />
hollander borne, And otherwise hee cannot depose.

To the first and second articles of the sad allegation hee saith and deposeth<br />
that hee well knoweth the producent Charles Barbou and hath soe<br />
donne for theise five yeares last or thereabouts during which time this<br />
deponent hath corresponded with him in the way of Merchandize, and<br />
saith the said Charles hath bin for all the said time and is an Inhabitant<br />
of Amsterdam where this deponent sawe him in or about August last was twelve moneth<br />
and was and is a merchant of good account, and a trader for Saint<br />
Malo's and other places of ffrance, which hee this deponent knoweth by reason<br />
of such his correspondance and by meanes of many bills of exchange which<br />
in the way of Merchandize this deponent received from him, and further<br />
that hee was and is a subiect of the Lords the States of the United Netherlands<br />
and for such as aforesaid commonly accompted and reputed. And otherwise<br />
hee cannot depose.
