of Deales, the said Buckingham hath with his shipp made a voyage to<br />
Newcastle and backward here to London above a fortnight<br />
since, and that therefore he beleiveth the said Beale and his Owners<br />
have suffered damage to the value of about xl ''li'' by the reason of<br />
the nonpayment of what is due unto him from the sayd<br />
Goodwin and Langdon, And further he cannot depose.
To the eighth article he deposeth that he the deponent was present<br />
when the producent did demand of the said Goodwin and<br />
Langdon the ust summe of Lxiiij ''li'' xv ''s'' being the remainder of<br />
what was his due for the freight of the said deales<br />
and that the sayd Goodwin and Langdon made answear that<br />
he should not have a farthing more then what he could<br />
recover by Law, and bad him to take his course/ And<br />
further he cannot depose.
To the ninth article he saith that the arlate Gooding and<br />
Langdon are Inhabitants in the parish of Stepney and subiect<br />
to the Jurisdiction of this Court./.
To the tenth article he referreth himselfe to the Registry<br />
of this Court And further cannot depose.
To the 11th he saith his former deposition is true./

To the first Interrogatory he answereth that he was none of<br />
the Company of the ''Providence'' the voyage interrate./
To the second he answereth that he was not present at the<br />
delivery out of the deales interrate And further he<br />
knoweth not to answeare./
To the third Interrogatory he answereth, that he the Rendent and<br />
the sayd John Buckingham did take the said pile<br />
of deals by estimate, as he hath predeposed, And further<br />
referring himselfe to his former deposition he cannot<br />
answeare.
