To the fifteenth Interrogatory he answereth that the Letters<br />
interrate were sent unto him this Rendent, and that<br />
he hath the said Letters now in his keeping, and that<br />
he did communicate the said Letters to none others but<br />
Nicholas Blayne and Thomas Guzman predeposed of<br />
And further he cannot answere.
To the sixteenth Interrogatory he answereth that he referreth<br />
himselfe unto the Accompt remayning in the Registry<br />
of this Court and mentioned in his foregoing<br />
deposition, for to satisfy the severall peeces of Linnen<br />
that every Bale contains, and how many ells are in<br />
every peece, And he answereth that there can be noe<br />
other thing within the said bales besides Linnen, And<br />
that he hath heard that the rest of the shipps Lading<br />
was for the account of hollanders and fflemings<br />
and were for the account of ffrenchmen, and that as<br />
he hath heard all the said shipps Lading was Linnen<br />

To the first article of the sayd allegation given in and<br />
admitted on the behalfe if the said Bartholomew Lopez de<br />
Apatrus he deposeth and saith that he the deponent hath<br />
knowne the arlate Bertram de Baud and Mathew De<br />
La ffitt by correspondency for some foure yeares last past, and<br />
that by the meanes and occasion of such correspondency between<br />
him the deponent and the said De Baud and De La ffitt<br />
he well knoweth that in the month of Aprill 1655<br />
and alsoe for a good while before they were resideing and<br />
living at Roane in ffrance and that there was and<br />
is communication and correspondence in<br />
the way of trade and merchandizing between the sayd<br />
De Baud and De Da[?y]fitt and the producent videlicet the<br />
aarlate Lopez de Apatris, which sayd De Apatris the<br />
deponent saith he well knoweth and hath knowne him the 10<br />
