That the said shipp the ''Rossell'' being a prize taken by the ''Advise''<br />
''frigat'' was brought into Lee Roade in July last was a twelvemoneth<br />
where this deponent on or about the tenth of the same moneth went<br />
aboard her as a waiter appointed by the Commissioners for prize goods,<br />
and found her holde to be full of Rice and wheate; And saith there<br />
was then betwixt her decks thirteen packs of wooll and under<br />
the same betwixt her decks there was a small quantitie of Rice<br />

And further saith that her hold was soe filled up with the said Rice and wheate, that<br />
there was not spare roome therein soe much as to receive or store any one<br />
of the said baggs of wooll that were soe betwixt decks.

to the Commissioners for Prize goods sworne before the<br />
right worshippfull William Clerke and John Godolphin doctors<br />
of lawes Judges of the high Court of the Admiraltie<br />
saith and deposeth.
That in or about the tenth of July last hee this deponent as Surveyor<br />
aforesaid went with waiters and seamen into Lee Roade to take possession<br />
(amongest others) of the said shipp the ''Rossell''. a prize taken by the<br />
''Advice frigot'' and brought in thither: And comming aboard her hee<br />
sawe ad found severall baggs of wooll betwixt her decks, and sawe corne<br />
and alsoe sawe that her hold was full of corne, and soe full<br />
that there was not roome therein for the corne that was lying betwixt her<br />
decks, much lesse as hee conceived for any one of the said baggs of wooll that were<br />
alsoe lying as aforesaid betwixt decks.
