To the second Interrogatory this deponent saith and deposeth that the first<br />
tyme that the rottenesse of the Bowe of the shipp ''dove'' was espied<br />
was by the Carpenters who searched for her leakes att Newcastle<br />
the voyage in question, and referringe himselfe to his foregeing<br />
deposition hee cannot further depose:/
To the third interrogatory hee saith hee is a stranger to the names of<br />
places and doth not know Winterton interrogaye, and therefor cannot<br />
say whether the shipp ''dove'' were there or noe the voyage in<br />
question. And to the rest of the interrogatory hee answereth<br />
negatively.
To the fifth interrogatory hee answereth negatively./
To the 6th interrogatory hee answereth and saith that hee was paid<br />
his wages interrogate within three or 4 dayes after the end of the<br />
voyage interrogate. and otherwise hee cannot answer./

thereabouts sworne and examined saith and deposeth<br />
as followeth:/:
To the first article of the said Allegation hee saith and deposeth, That the<br />
shipp the ''Saint Peter'' arlate, at or about such time as shee was seized by an English frigott<br />
or man of warr whereof the arlate Leonard Barnett was Captaine, lay<br />
at an anchor neare to the maine land of france att an Island called Briack<br />
or Ilbracke, and there lay fast with two Roapes fastened to certaine Rocks of<br />
