To the first second third and fourth Artic … To the first second third and fourth Articles of the sayd Allegation This deponent<br />
saith and deposeth that the arlate Abraham Van Hembecque a merchant Inhabitant<br />
of Antwerpe and a subiect of the King of Spaine (who by common reputation is a fflandrian<br />
borne and for 20 yeares and upwards hath lived att Antwerpe) hath for theis eight<br />
yeares past bene a great trader from fflanders to Cadiz and Saint Lucar for moneys<br />
sylver and foods and for that purpose hath had and still hath his factors and<br />
correspondents att Cadiz whither within the sayd tyme he hath sent severall good<br />
quantityes of the merchandizes of fflanders, And saith that in the month of<br />
August 1652 this deponent being aboard the arlate shipp ''Saint George'' in the<br />
baye of Cadiz
