on the behalfe of the said Lorenzo<br />
da Vales.

aged 33 yeares or thereabouts sworne and examined

the said bay, which hee knoweth because hee this deponent came<br />
from the said Indies in the same fleete with him, and sawe him<br />
in the possession thereof at Vera Cruz in Nova Hispania where<br />
and in other parts of the Indies hee gained the same with traffique<br />
and merchandize, and at vera Cruz this deponent sawe him<br />
imbarque the same aboard the Admirall of the Spanish fleete<br />
bound for Cales, and at vera Cruz this deponent helped the producent<br />
to sewe up the said plate and mark the same, and helped to tell<br />
and sawe the telling of all the said peeces of eight, assisting<br />
therein the said producent, who assisted him in the like occasion<br />
And further that upon the arivall of the said Spanish fleete from<br />
the West Indies at Cadiz, namely in or about the moneth of July<br />
last and about two or three dayes after the said arivall the said producent<br />
tooke all the said silver and plate out of the shipp wherein the<br />
same came from the West Indies being the Admirall of the fleete wherein<br />
the said producent came himselfe, and put and laded the same aboard<br />
the shipp the ''Sampson'' arlate Otto George master for Osetnd for his<br />
owne accompt of this deponent sight and knowledge rthis deponent<br />
