depose.
To the fifth he saith he was a passanger in the shipp ''Sampson'' aforesayd<br />
and aboard att the tyme of seizure, and thereby knoweth that the sayd shipp<br />
after the lading of the sylver aforesayd sett sayle from Cadiz and in her Com[pany?]<br />
to Ostend was seized by some of the shipps of the Commonwealth by meanes[?]<br />
of which seizure all the sayd sylver as he verily beleiveth came into the <br />
possession of the Takers. and further he cannot depose.
To the sixth and seventh he saith that be common repute the arlate Peter<br />
and Andrew [?], and Joanna [?]anden Berque are fflandriane <br />
borne subjects of the King of Spaine and Inhabitants of Antwerpe <br />
and so have bene for most of their tymes respectively. And saith<br />
that by like[?] comon repute the arlate ffrancisco de [?] is by birth<br />
a [?] a subject of the King of Spaine, and for ten yeares and <br />
upwards hath bene and is an Inhabitant of bera[?] Cruz in the west Indies<br />
and saith the sayd sylver was laden for the sayd parties respectively<br />
as he hath predeposed, and further he cannot depose

To the first he saith that he was aboard the ''Sampson'' att the tyme of seizure<br />
and came first aboard as a Passenger att Cadiz aforesayd in October 1652
To the second he saith he knoweth the interrate Peter and Andrew [?]<br />
Joanna panden Borgaue and ffrancisco [?] by letters and correspondence<br />
onely and so hath know them for six years or thereabouts, and knoweth <br />
Pedro [?] by name onely, and saith John Baptista [?] is as [?]<br />
beleiveth a feigned name, which this deponent hath heard [?]<br />
his precontest[?] say he made use of for the sylver which he laded att Cadiz in<br />
his owne person, not [?] that he should be knowne to transport sylver<br />
out of Spaine and further not knowing the persons of any the[?] parties <br />
interrate he cannot depose.
To the third he saith that peter Janson interrate is the barksman to whom the<br />
sayd Lorenzo Jearkes[?] delivered the large barr of sylver to lade as affronted <br />
and further saving his present depositions whereto he referred himself<br />
he cannot deposeth
To the fourth he saith the interrte Peter Janson and Pedro Arangall<br />
are by comon repute Spaniards and Inhabitants of Cadiz and subjects of <br />
the King of Spaine. and otherwise referring himself to his foregoing <br />
depositions he cannot depose.
To the fifth he saith the [?] sylver [?] aforesayd was laden aboard<br />
the sayd shipp in the day tyme by Lorenzo [?] aforesayd and was<br />
carryed aboard by Otto George master of the sayd shipp the ''Samson''<br />
and otherwise saving his foregoing depositions he cannot depose
To the 6th he saith he saw Pedro de Campo firme the sayd three bills of <br />
lading all of one tenor for the large barr of sylver aforesayd aboard <br />
the ninth day of September 1652 aboard the shipp ''Sampson '' in the bay<br />
of Cadiz. And further he cannot depose, saving he saith he [?]<br />
nor was present when the rest of the bills of lading were signed
To the 7th he saith that the name John Baptista [?] one of the <br />
bills of lading mentioned is a supposed fictitious name as he believeth and otherwise<br />
negatively.
To the 8th and 9th he saith he saw the Pursor of the ''Sampson'' att the tyme<br />
of lading the sayd [?] entred the same into his book with the <br />
marke thereof and the name of the sayd Lorenzo [?] to whom<br />
the same was cosigned, and believeth that agreeable[?] to the sayd<br />
entry the Bill of lading for the sayd Cochindale[? and [?]. And further<br />
