And saith That it is notorious That the said shipp being in her<br />
Course from Cadiz towards Dunquirke was surprized and taken by<br />
some of the shipps of this Commonwealth, the said peeces of eight<br />
then being as hee verily believeth, in and aboard the said shipp And<br />
otherwise cannot depose.
To the last hee saith his foregoing deposition was and is true

To the first negatively.
To the second hee saith hee hath personally knowne the interrate Edward Peters<br />
for about 6 yeares last past, and the said Gerrard Ryper for <br />
about 7 yeares last by Correspondencie. And otherwise cannot depose.
To the third hee saith hee was not at Cadiz at the time of the lading<br />
of the Patacons[?] interrate, And otherwise cannot depose.
To the 4th hee saith the interrate Edward Peters is an Antwerp<br />
borne and hath lived there in the Kipdorp street and other streets in Antwerp with his family<br />
over since this deponent know him, and formerly for severall yeares<br />
lived at Dover in England, and the said Gerard Ryper is also an<br />
Antwerper borne, and hath lived in Cadiz for all the time this<br />
deponent hath knowne him by Correspondencies as aforesaid and<br />
is there married.
To the 5th and 6th hee saith hee was not present at the signing<br />
of the bills of lading interrate, And otherwise saving his<br />
foregoing deposition hee saith hee cannot depose.
To the 7.th hee saith by vertue of his oath hee beleeveth the <br />
bills of lading predeposed to be reall and true, and no waies<br />
fictitious false or Colourable. And otherwise cannot depose.
To the 8. 9. and 10.th hee cannot depose.
To the 11th hee saith hee is for the reasons predeposed fully <br />
Convinced in Conscience that the patacons [?] now Claimed doe<br />
really and truely appertaine to the producent aforesaid, and to no other<br />
person or persons whatsoever and that the said shipp and lading<br />
were directly bound for Oastend or Dunquirke, and no other part or<br />
place whatsoever.
To the 12. and 13th hee saith, That hee very well knoweth by the<br />
sight and perusall of the [reciprocals] letters of advise which have<br />
passed between the producent and his said ffactors that Order<br />
was sent from Antwerp to the said ffactors to lade moneys and<br />
silver upon all free shipps coming from Cadiz to fflander for the<br />
said producents accompt, in part of returne of the said producents<br />
goods by him there received.
To the 14th hee saith, hee well knoweth that the said ffactors at<br />
