Pyna for his sylver and moneyes}<br />
in the ''Saint George'' et cetera}
Examined upon an allegation on the behalfe of Symon da<br />
ffonseca Pina.
'''Anthonio Estevan de Balderas''' borne<br />
att Madrid in Spaine an Inhabitant of Limma<br />
in the Indies merchant aged 38 yeares or thereabouts<br />
a witnes sworne and examined deposeth and saith<br />
as followeth. videlicet.
To the 1. 2. 3. and 4. article sof the sayd allegation This deponent saith that<br />
in or about the moneth of August 1652 being att Cadiz in Spaine<br />
and in Company with and in the howse of William Corneliz<br />
(aho was and os the factor of Simon ffonseca Pyna a merchant of<br />
Madrid knowne to this deponent for theis 20 yeares last past) he had<br />
and there saw in his possession severall parcells of plate and sylver<br />
which the sayd Porneliz then sayd did belong to the sayd Symonda<br />
ffonsec Pyna. and amongst the rest the arlate six barrs of sylver<br />
marked '''DMF''' and one bagg no. 9. having sylver therein which<br />
sayd severall parcells of sylver the sayd Porneliz then sayd he had order<br />
to remitt to Juan Alvarez of Antwerpe for the producents accompt<br />
and that he did intend to send the same accordingly by Otto George<br />
Christian Cloppenbergh and John Martins whose shipps then lay in the<br />
bay of Cadiz bound for Ostend. And not long after and within the<br />
sayd moneth of August 1652. this deponent being agayne with the<br />
sayd Porneliz att his howse he told this deponent that he had laden the<br />
forementioned parcells of sylver on board the sayd shipps, and with all<br />
shewed this deponent bills of lading for the same, one whereof<br />
was the bill of lading arlate and now shewne him or of the [?XXX]<br />
